이 책은 저의 반려견인 앵두의 시점에서 지난 2년간의 이야기를 쓴 책입니다. 저의 책을 통해 반려동물을 분양 받기 전 현재 반려동물을 키우는 견주와 반려동물의 일상을 간접적으로 경험하여 같이 사는 것이 마냥 힘들지 않다는 것을 느끼셨으면 합니다. 또한 동물들의 귀여운 외모에 충동적으로 반려동물을 분양받고 싶어 하지는 않는지, 다시 한 번 자신과 몇 년 동안 같이 살 가족을 받아들일 준비가 되었는지 생각을 해주시길 바랍니다. 추가적으로 얘기하자면, 반려동물을 분양하기로 마음을 먹었을 때엔 펫샵에서의 분양 말고 책에서도 잠깐 언급 되었던 유기 동물 센터에서의 분양도 있다는 점을 알아 주셨으면 좋겠습니다.
