시집 『트랙과 들판의 별』은 어른이 되지 못한 아이들의 방황과 반항, 사랑에 대한 이야기다. 그런 의미에서 이 시집은 기이한 동화의 세계인데, 왜 기이하냐면 순진한 아이들의 세계가 아닌 기성의 세계(어른의 세계)에 대항하는 도착의 세계로 우리를 데려가기 때문이다. 지어내거나 문화적인 텍스트 속에 들어 있는, 혹은 실재하는 이야기들이 콜라주 기법에 의해 뒤섞이는 시의 이미지들은 이러한 이야기의 병치에 의해 위력을 발휘하는 독특한 양식을 보여준다. 시집에서 풍겨나는 이 유니크한 양식과 기이한 이야기들은 결국 현실 세계 전체에 대한 거대한 비판의 아이러니로 작용한다.
About the author
1970년 서울에서 태어나, 2003년 《파라21》에 「주치의 h」 외 5편의 시를 발표하며 문단에 나왔다. 시집으로 『여장남자 시코쿠』, 『트랙과 들판의 별』이 있다. 박인환문학상을 수상했다.
