시끄러운 클럽에서 남자를 따라 나온 은재는 낯선 남자의 손에 이끌려 결국 호텔까지 오게 되었다. 어차피 내일이면 기억나지 않을 일이었다. 그러니 생애 한 번쯤은 이런 일탈을 해도 괜찮을 거라고 생각했다. 남자는 머리부터 발끝까지 값비싸 보이는 것들을 두르고 있었다. “이런 적 처음이야?” “아니요.” 은재는 일부러 남자에게 처음이 아니라고 거짓말했다. 혹여 그녀의 일탈이 물거품이 될까 봐. 다행히 남자는 그녀의 거짓말에 별다른 의심을 하지 않았다. 다음날 새벽녘 그녀가 눈을 떴을 때는 침대 위였다. 옆에는 발가벗은 채 등을 드러내고 엎드려 누워있는 남자가 있었다. 지난밤 뜨거웠던 기억 때문에 순간 몸이 절로 떨렸다. 하지만 더는 지체할 시간이 없었다. 은재는 남자가 깨지 않게 조심스럽게 침대에서 내려와 옷을 챙겨 입었다. 다행히 남자는 여전히 고른 숨소리를 내며 잠들어 있었다. “안녕.” 은재는 남자에게 작별을 고하고 도망치듯 호텔방을 나가게 되는데....
