當珍珠奶茶店開進巴黎羅浮宮
2018 年 7 月，歐洲人排爆羅浮宮廣場，這家珍奶羅浮宮分店在透明金字塔的正下方，左邊是 Prada，對面是 Apple，它是亞洲第一個茶品牌進駐羅浮宮，從 Local 一頭撞進 Global，國際市場竟能為他們瘋狂。
日出茶太這個亞洲品牌，不單需要克服了語言屏障，還要適應各種文化的價值觀，珍珠奶茶今年在日本突然大受年輕女性族群的喜愛，不過這也不是第一次的珍奶熱，這次日本人甚至把「珍奶」一詞變成動詞「タピる」、「タピ活（珍奶活動）」等新興用詞。剛開始學英文，我們因為不習慣，很容易忽略動詞用得對不對，例如：業績成長該用grow (發展、成長) 而非grow up (長大)，只有人才會grow up，合約書上「寫」什麼，應該用say而不是直譯成write。
為什麼我們學了這麼久的英文，卻經常用了好多含糊的動詞而不自知？答案是，我們多半太急躁。技巧是一回事，真正困難的是「打造跨文化思維」。像是拿捏和老外的「社交距離」、如何評價老外、如何理解老外的價值觀、人際觀，這些「看不見的語言」一如珍奶杯底裡，看不見的珍珠，我們以為「學不來」，但其實我們只是「沒看到」，直到慢慢吸一口，咀嚼幾回後，才能說我們真的有「學到英文」吧！
