新詩集《燈籠花》取名親近我們生活的植物扶桑大紅花，台語叫做「籃仔花」客語叫它「燈籠花」，本集客語詩有一首〈臨暗〉約略提到花的亮度與暗喻。

《燈籠花》詩集共分為三輯：

輯一／現代詩集，收入近年來的華文創作，多數書寫台灣近代人文史蹟及地景，觀察社會動態與理念，少數則種樹剪花蒔草，連結女性內心的思維。

輯二／旅遊詩，足跡分別走過日本、智利、蒙古國等等，外國文學的氣質久久存念心頭未消散，即使走過草原與沙漠也給予空靈幻覺的況味。

輯三／母語詩，我的出生地講客語，進入社會嫁到別區域開始講台語，自認多學一種語言就多一分情感，以寫詩來挽留鄉音純粹的情懷，熟悉的地方、生態風景、人情世故等都是我不能捨且樂於捕捉的題材。

About the author

利玉芳

生於1952年，屏東縣內埔鄉，現住台南市下營區，從事詩藝戶外交流，著有詩集《活的滋味》、《貓》、《向日葵》、《利玉芳詩集》、《淡飲洛神花茶的早晨》、《夢會轉彎》、《燈籠花》等，並著有散文集與兒童作品，曾獲吳濁流新詩正獎及陳秀喜詩獎。
