收錄作者詩作七十餘首，依成詩先後排序，紀錄生命歷程與社會變遷。
作者的詩都是有為而作，是事件的再現，但詩以意象為主要表現手法，勢不能如散文之意義明晰，故語言與語言之間，遍佈必須讀者參與的謎題。以「謎．事件簿」為名，表達作者對詩適度曖昧性的尊重。

本書部分詩作選自作者2008年出版之詩集《寫生》，是為了完整呈現作者感情思想的延續性與社會觀察的寫實性，其中蘊藏作者對人生與社會關懷之面向。

About the author

李若鶯

1950年出生於高雄縣仁武鄉，國立高雄師範大學國文系博士班畢業，國立高雄師範大學國文系及華語文教學研究所教授退休，現任《鹽分地帶文學》雙月刊（台南巿政府文化局發行）主編，曾獲高雄巿文學獎。

著作：《花落蓮成－唐宋詞散論》、《唐宋詞鑑賞通論》、《現代詩修辭運用析探》、《寫生》（獲2009年台灣文學獎入圍）
