This book brings back memories from my childhood. I remember the day my mum took me to a book fair and bought this book for me. She used to read it to me until I learnt how to read it, and then I read it to my little brother. I have told stories of two sisters and Vasya n Katya to my kids from my memory. I'm so glad to find it online!!!
About the author
Leo Tolstoy (1828-1910), the great Russian writer, is also the author of several books of short stories for children, which have become classics in their own right.
