Julius Wolff erzählt in seinem Roman "Das schwarze Weib" über die Ereignisse während der Bauernkriege im 16. Jahrhundert. Historisch überliefert ist, dass Margarete Renner (1475-1535 - damals auch die Schwarze Hofmännin genannt), sich aktiv an der Rebellion beteiligte. Im Heilbronner Stadtteil Böckingen wurde zur Erinnerung an diese mutige Frau im Jahr 1986 eine Skulptur aufgestellt. Wolff hat ihr mit seinem Roman bereits 1894 ein literarisches Denkmal gesetzt. Er nannte in seiner Geschichte die historische Margarete Judika. (in neuer Rechtschreibung)
