Friedrich von Schiller wurde als Johann Christoph Friedrich Schiller am 10. November 1759 in Marbach am Neckar geboren und verstarb am 9. Mai 1805 in Weimar. Er war war ein Arzt, Philosoph und Historiker und gilt bis heute als einer der bedeutensten Dichter und Essayisten.
