I loved the story. I felt like the author enhanced the areas of history that were the most important such as the depths that the family went through to obtain the home, the friends and family members that were significant to the family during the time that the family lived in the home, the fear and horrifiying experiences that the home put them through, etc. The story is a step by step narrative and I have read it and re-read it many times. It is a compellig story. I believe every words having had similiar experiences myself. I am looking forward to the movie and I hope that the move does justice to the Arnold Estate and to Bathsheba herself. This book is a must read for anyone that wishes to understand interdimensions and how even though we are in the flesh - we are still spiritual beings. This story is the story that made the Warren Family as famous as they are now, When you read it please have an open mind. I find it remarkable that Andrea remembered so much about the past and described these memories so eloquently. I will always love this book. This is a must read!

This book is ALL about Andrea's need for attention, yet she says her younger sister Nancy was/is the needy one. The phrases "boo" "speed of light" "message recieved" etc ad nausea!. Seriously I read it on a 10 inch tablet and there was a whole page that size devoted to running down Nancy's friend Katy as the demon seed (Perron's words). She talks in the third person and litteraly skips bac and forth, such as the well digging thing, it was I thought finnished then she startedwriting about it agian with just about the same paragraphs. I HONESTLY THINK SHE'S MENTALLY ILL AND/OR DRUNK AS WELL WHEN SHE WROTE THESE PIECES OF CRAP!!. I WANT MY MONEY BACK! Please just do not do like I did and believe the bad reviews were wrong, lol the bad reviews were every bit as true as MINE is. Sad but true.

Honestly I was mkre interested in learning about the history of the house, but not much of the history was here, a little, but I would have liked to know more about it, if Carolyn had indeed gone and spent so much time in researching she could have given more details, and andrea could have done more research if needed, way too much time spent on trying to use bigger more "intelligent" words, when it could have been kept more similar, more focused on topics and more details on the house and property itself, more history of the "spirits" in it, including Bathsheba instead of focusing on babbling about stuff there should have been a little more focus and research. Every chapter bounced around and I found it hard to keep up with what point in time was pressed and what event was being received, and again left with questions because it lacked details and focus. Kind of cool because of the pictures, but should have included a lot more pictures, maybe more with the floor plan of the house and barn, maybe pictures of the property from above showing the property layout, and maybe ones showing older layouts and the older county division.
