헤세드 히브리어 '헤세드'는 하나님의 언약에 대한 '은혜', '자비', '긍휼'을 의미하는 말로 저자의 개인적인 신앙교제모임의 이름이다. 책의 제목으로 허락해주신 헤세드 친구들께 감사한다. 나를 사랑하고 내 계명을 지키는 자에게는 천 대까지 은혜(헤세드)를 베푸느니라 출애굽기 20:6 이 글은 영국의 교수이자 기독교 신자인 C.S 루이스의 저서들로부터 거의 대부분의 영감을 받아 그가 쓴 글들을 옮겨 기독교 신앙을 전파하고자 하는 목적으로 썼다.
About the author
전업투자자 기독교인 저자는 2009년부터 광염교회(감자탕교회)를 섬기는 평신도이다. 저자는 현재 주식투자를 전업으로 하는 투자자이며 "내 남편의 직업은 전업투자자" 등의 주식투자 책을 출간한 작가이다. 저자는 어머니의 영향으로 성당에서 영세를 받고 개종하여 2009년부터 서울광염교회에 출석한다. C.S 루이스로부터 기독교적인 세계관과 신앙심의 토대가 되는 이론을 배웠다. 기독교를 전파하는 목적으로 이 책을 쓴다.
