머리말 우리나라 학생들은 너무 어렸을 때부터 경쟁에 노출돼 책을 읽는 즐거움을 잃게 되는 경우가 많습니다. 부모의 바쁜 스케줄 때문에 혹은 경쟁에서 뒤쳐지지 않기 위해 학원을 전전하고 있는 것이 현실입니다. 문제 푸는 요령은 배우지만 창의력을 키울 소중한 시간은 흘려보내고 있는 것입니다. 이런 현실이 안타까워 하나의 가이드라인을 제시한다는 생각으로 집필을 시작하게 되었습니다. 아무쪼록 이 책이 아이를 키우고 있는 학부모의 고민을 덜어주고, 아이들에게 창의적인 책읽기 방법을 가르치는데 도움이 되길 바랍니다. 2019년 2월 24일 조 장 우 씀.
