About the author
이향안 대학에서 국문학을 공부했어요. 제9회 웅진주니어 문학상 장편 대상과 제3회 SBS TV 문학상을 받았어요. 《별난반점 헬멧뚱과 X사건》, 《그 여름의 덤더디》, 《팥쥐 일기》, 《광모 짝 되기》, 《수리수리 셈도사 수리》, 《나도 서서 눌 테야!》 등의 동화책을 썼어요. 그림책과 정보책에도 관심이 많아서 다양한 분야의 책을 썼어요. 《꼬마 이웃, 미루》, 《엄마랑 똑같지?》 등의 그림책에 글을 쓰고, 《더 좋은 세상을 만든 착한 발명》, 《진시황의 책 교실》, 《아프리카 원숭이들이 북극으로 이사 가요!》 등의 정보책도 썼어요.
