? 이광수 수필집(1946년 초판본) 이 책에 넣은 글은 병술년(丙戌年)(1946) 9월부터 금년 즉 무자년(戊子年)(1948) 2월까지 사이에 씌워진 것들이다. ‘산에서는’ 내가 봉선사에 들어가 있는 동안의 일기다. 나는 오랫동안 세상을 떠나서 수도생활을 할 작정으로, 꽤 크고 비장한 결심을 가지 고 봉선사로 간 것이었다. 내가 봉선사를 숨을 곳으로 정한 까닭은 광동학교의 교장으로 있는 내 삼종 운허당 이학수를 의지함이었다.(본문 ‘서문’ 중에서)
