About the author
서울예술대학 문예창작과를 졸업했다. 1985년 중편 「겨울 우화」로 『문예중앙』신인상을 수상하며 작품활동을 시작했다. 소설집 『강물이 될 때까지』『풍금이 있던 자리』『오래 전 집을 떠날 때』『딸기밭』『종소리』, 장편소설 『깊은 슬픔』『외딴방』『기차는 7시에 떠나네』『바이올렛』, 짧은 소설집 『J이야기』, 산문집 『아름다운 그늘』, 사진산문집 『자거라, 내 슬픔아』를 펴냈다.
