슬기는 할머니가 돌아가시는 바람에, 7년 만에 가족들이 사는 서울 집으로 오게 된다. 하지만 누구 하나 따뜻하게 맞아 주지 않는다. 게다가 슬기는 촌스러운 겉모습과 불퉁불퉁한 성격 탓에 친구들과 어울리지도 못한다. 그러다 우연한 계기로 반에서 가장 모범생인 솔찬이와 친구가 되는데….

About the author

서울에서 태어나, 단국대학교 대학원 문예창작학과를 졸업했다. 2004년 충청일보 신춘문예 동화 부문에 「할머니의 선물」이 당선되면서 글쓰기에 더욱 힘을 쏟게 되었다. 엮은 책으로 『걸리버 여행기』『15소년 표류기』 등이 있으며, 현재 초등학교에서 논술 수업을 하고 있다. 두 살배기 미소천사 ‘재우’를 키우며, 서두르지 않고 한 걸음 한 걸음 나아가는 작가가 되고자 한다.
