The plot is decent, but it's basically about her husband being useless trash and his family being abusive towards their savior - His Wife and the MC. This is so disappointing, also please learn to write scenes with actual heat to them. The one and only smut scene the whole series was boring asf and you get one star for that. The scene felt like a half finished list being done and fake steam all over the place was used for filler in it. You get ZERO DETAILS and a bunch of vague flowery boring trite as the description. I was utterly disgusted that I waited so long for it and gave you benefit of doubt in last book. This series is basically a watered down R15 series mislabeled by the R19 rating to gave smut content. It was trash, th as t you have just one half vague boring scene total, out of two R19 labeled books. Labled properly, as R15 at best and barely that even, I'd give you 3.5 stars for plot still being decent. Unfortunately, plot is Sweet Potato City and thus frustrating.
