About the author
모리스 르블랑은 1864년 프랑스의 루앙에서 부유한 선장의 아들로 태어났습니다. 1905년 아르센 뤼팽을 주인공으로 단편을 발표하여 큰 성공을 거두었고, 다음 해 단편집 괴도 신사 아르센 뤼팽을 출간했습니다. 뤼팽 시리즈는 오늘날까지도 가장 사랑받는 추리소설 가운데 하나로 평가받고 있습니다.
