《해인사 풍광》은 1938년 해인사를 둘러본 기행 작품으로 해인사의 시초와 역사적 배경, 불교적 심상과 불가의 경내와 일상생활을 둘러보고 체험한 것을 상세히 보고 적은 글이다. 이와 마찬가지로 이전(1931년)에 먼저 함대훈의 ‘해인사 기행’에서도 또 다른 기행을 언급하고 묘사한 바 있다.
