나도향 보통학교 교사, 소설가 본명은 나경손(羅慶孫) 필명은 빈(彬) 호는 도향(稻香) 1902년 서울 출생 1926년에 25세의 나이에 요절 1922년 《백조》 창간호에 젊은이의 시절 발표와 함께 작가의 길을 걷기 시작했다. 초기 작품에는 낭만주의적 성향이 강했으나 점차 이를 극복하고 사실주의로 전향하였다. 주요 작품으로는 벙어리 삼룡이, 물레방아, 뽕 등의 단편소설과 《환희》 등의 장편소설이 있다.
