About the author
《대한매일신보》주필을 거쳐 성균관대학교에서 정치문화론을 가르쳤으며, 독립기념관장을 지냈다. 민주화운동관련자 명예회복 및 보상심의위원, 제주 4·3 희생자 진상규명 및 명예회복위원회 위원, 백범학술원 운영위원, 민주공원 건립추진위원, 친일파 인명사전 편찬 부원장 등을 맡아 바른 역사 찾기에 부단히 노력하고 있다.
