About the author
저자 : 김규흔 전통한과(약과, 유과) 명인이자 대한민국 한과 명장 1호이다. 물 맑은 포천에 국내 유일의 한과문화박물관 한가원을 설립하였고, 지금도 관장으로 있다. 농림수산 식품부 전통식품 품질인증을 받은 신궁전통한과 대표로, 꿀약과와 홍삼꿀약과, 녹차 꿀약과, 초코유과 등 150여 종의 한과를 개발하였다. 숱한 시행착오 끝에 이뤄낸 천연 성분 개발과 한과개별포장은 한과의 유통기한과 품격을 크게 높였다는 평가를 받고 있다. 제3차 ASEM 정상회의에 각국 정상들에게 한과를 공급하였고, 설과 추석 대통령 선물세트로 한과를 공급하기도 하였다. 2003년 석탑산업훈장을 받았다. MBC ‘성공 시대’, ‘희망특강 파랑새’, EBS ‘직업의 세계, 일인자’ 등 여러 방송과 매체에서 그의 삶을 재조명하기도 했다. 김규흔 명장의 다음 꿈은 한과의 유네스코 세계문화유산 등재이며, 이 책은 그 평생의 노력에 대한 작은 기록이다.
