About the author
黃奇仁（George K. Wong），一九三七年生於香港，於聖若瑟英文書院讀完預科後，一九五八年加入畢馬域蔑曹核數師樓任見習會計，一九六三年加入香港警察隊為見習督察，一九六七年至一九六八年任警務處處長副官及私人助理。一九七一年移民前曾獲香港警務處處長及指揮官頒發獎狀。 一九七一年受聘於皇家加拿大騎警。期間，曾調到律政司處。一九九三年獲加拿大皇家銀行派員邀請加盟。一九九八年再受邀請，返回律政司處工作，至二零零一年退休。 作者曾多次獲加拿大各省政府警察及城市警察等頒發獎狀，並曾因偵破一宗不尋常的案件，而獲得美國聯邦調查局頒發嘉獎證書及加拿大總理頒發感謝狀。
