About the author
陳長慶 一九四六年生於金門碧山。讀完金門中學初中一年級因家貧輟學。後戮力自修，發表作品，從事文學創作近四十餘年，長期致力於邊陲文學之書寫，句法細緻，主題正確，結構嚴謹，筆端流露真情，樹立個人特殊風格，展現他對社會與島嶼文學之關懷，無論質地數量在金門均有佳績。陳氏寫作風格、手法、題材，一如國立台灣藝術大學教授、詩人藝術家張國治文評中所言：「陳氏擅長以寫實手法，描寫金門之風土民情，並植根於對時局的感受，對家鄉政治環境的變遷，世風流俗的易變，戰火悲傷命運以及不向悲苦困境屈服的堅強意志，鋪成一股濃濃的鄉土情懷。」
