“不宜糾正”，更因爲高崗是鄧小平版本“凡是”最老的受害者：當初正是鄧小平擔心高崗權力更大，與陳雲競相率先告密，80年代又發話“處理高崗還是對的嘛”。一糾正，勢必暴露他死死捂住蓋子的所有老帳。
高崗曾經差點就被推下大坑，被那些黨內同志砸下大石土塊活埋，與他一起的還有戰友習仲勛，那一次，毛澤東伸出手救了他們；後來高崗再次跌進自己也參與挖掘的大坑，習仲勛隨後也遭到同樣的命運，又被黨內同志砸下大石土塊，毛澤東不再伸以援手，反而砸下了最沉重的大石。
現在，輪到習仲勛的兒子執掌了中共大權。高崗的冤魂能否等來真相大白的一天？
