賴澤涵教授，美國伊利諾大學香檳分校博士，歷任中央研究院三民主義研究所研究員、國立中央大學歷史研究所所長、客家研究中心主任、文學院院長，現為國立中央大學榮譽教授。曾擔任行政院二二八事件與白色恐怖調查研究報告總主筆，並榮獲哈薩克國家科學院院士，著有A Tragic Beginning : The Taiwan Uprising of February 28, 1947與 Taiwan’s Role in Asia, 等書，主編與發表過之學術論著超過百種。
