一、本次以生命史的研究法則，來進行有關台灣服裝歷史與文化的研究，確實開拓出新的研究方向，並且也呈現出具體的成果。 二、本次研究中，由施素筠老師提供個人及家族大量珍藏的傳世老照片共計有1116張，經過考查後，準確地考證出302張，有具體背景、時間與人物，作為本研究主要論證的關鍵資料。 三、本次研究，嘗試以施素筠老師個人生命史為核心，將施素筠老師生命階段，分為四個時期階段，藉此瞭解施素筠老師個人；及施素筠老師所衍生出來周邊的親友，他們在穿著時的表現與背後所呈現出的服飾審美價值觀。 四、本次研究，不僅關心施素筠老師及其家族成員服裝穿著的外在現象，並將這些現象與大時代中的政治、經濟、社會、文化等因素進行探討。【秀威資訊科技股份有限公司製作】
