內容簡介 當前資通訊產業發展正朝「五感體驗新世代」邁進，即結合視覺、嗅覺、聽覺、觸覺及虛實合一等感知，讓使用者在操作電子消費性產品時，能擁有更全面、更接近自然世界、以及更合乎人性的感官享受。 而近年來人機介面技術的突破性進展與逐漸成熟的實務應用，對於前述一種或數種感知情境的營造，進而促成產品與人類的情感或情緒產生連結，有相當大的貢獻。例如：NICT 在CEATEC 2011 展出令人驚豔的超大尺寸、200 吋裸視3D 立體影像顯示系統；2011 年10 月Apple 推出iPhone 4S，配備了不僅可以聲控、還能與使用者互動的Siri 智慧型行動語音助理；Sony 於2011 年底推出PSP 次世代機種PS Vita，則搭載了擴增實境功能，將虛擬遊戲畫面融合到真實世界場景中，甚至還能與真實世界的物體互動，像是虛擬戰車發射的砲彈碰到茶几桌的杯子會反彈等。 有鑑於此，資策會產業情報研究所（MIC）在「2015 年熱門前瞻技術」系列叢書中，首輯即推出「五感體驗篇」，期協助廠商瞭解3D 立體影像顯示技術、電子鼻（嗅覺感測器）、語音辨識技術、觸覺回饋技術與擴充實境技術的發展現況、主要開發廠商、實際應用案例或未來深具潛力的市場應用、以及可能面對的問題與挑戰。若有廠商正在觀察或期望建構支援五感資通訊效果的產品或應用，實不能錯過本重要議題。
