About the author
綦彥臣， 作家，獨立中文筆會成員，經濟學者，著有十餘部歷史與經濟學書目。較具代表性的著作有：《中國人的歷史誤讀》、《刀與筆──東漢文人外戚宦官的三角鬥爭》、《給歷史放把火》。 曾於2007年初入選《2006年百名華人公共知識份子名單》。另為網易專欄作家，博客（sihoen.blog.163.com）是網易歷史名博。 作者同時也是大陸知名異見人士，曾於1999年9月2日至2003年5月1日繫獄（原判煽動顛覆國家政權罪四年，後在國際社會呼籲下，提前四個月獲釋）。經常在網刊《民主中國》、《零八憲章月刊》上發表學術文章，目前是《民主中國》網刊排名第一的專欄作者。
