About the author
程寶林 湖北荊門市人，先後畢業於中國人民大學新聞系和美國舊金山州立大學英語創作系，獲英語藝術碩士（MFA）學位，現任教美國加州某聯邦外語學院。中國大陸八○年代「學院詩歌運動」主要代表詩人之一。著有著有英文詩集LI PO'S CLOTH SHOES、英漢對照詩集《紙的鋒刃》，散文集《故土蒼茫》、《一個農民兒子的村莊實錄》、《托福中國》、《大地的酒漿》、《父母的歌謠》，思想隨筆集《洗白》，讀書隨筆集《負笈美利堅》，長篇小說《美國戲臺》等近二十部。作品收入一百多部選集，並已譯為英文、日文、越南文等多國文字發表。
