生於濱海小鎮，因為愛山所以搬到山裡住，因為愛看書，所以開始寫作。當老師前，曾換過三十六種工作；當了作家後，出版了十多本書：《草魚潭的孩子》、《我的家人我的家》、《泡妞特攻隊》、《我的老師虎姑婆》、《豬兒當自強》等。
