第三冊詞與詞學篇。首述《興懷集》中詞作，有酬酢、有言情，如「耐到三更；耐到曉窗明；耐到黃昏時節；依舊一燈青」，情真意深。游覽、紀事等作，觸景生情，且有翻譯詞，非常人所及。《實用詞譜》，選錄詞調三百六十，較前賢為多，符合實際，並創新譜記號，依筆畫多寡安排等等，索查方便，實為入門最佳詞譜。《〈花間集〉評點校注》，依後蜀趙崇祚《花間集》，作音釋、校記、集評、按語（評論），用功勤、識見高。對於溫庭筠〈菩薩蠻〉，有學者不同見解，證之其他學者高見，終以蕭先生之說為勝。《評訂〈麝塵蓮寸集〉》，《麝塵蓮寸集》為清汪淵集晚唐以來詞，其妻程淑詳注出處。此集蕭先生應安徽省議長江彤侯託付再版，先生於一九七七年出版，完成三十多年前承諾。書中對集詞不同層次評論，極為精彩。許振軒認為蕭先生之評，「以生花妙筆，發如珠妙語，所論至精，所評至當。」
