《寒夜三部曲》是台灣文學中重要大河小說之作，文本時間跨越了清乾隆年間至台灣終戰初期歷經二百年，李喬運用歷時性筆法敘述一群客家人來到苗栗地區的蕃仔林移民拓荒的經過。2002至2003年間，公共電視將其三部曲《寒夜》、《荒村》、《孤燈》陸續改編成電視劇—《寒夜》與《寒夜續曲》，首度以電視媒體的傳播方式展現了台灣人的情感、歷史與文化故事。本書中心著重在影劇文本的視覺感官之跨界交流，兩部導演分別使用較佳視覺影像來詮釋李喬獨特的書寫風格，如他擅長的人物心理摹寫或是日治時代歷史再現之內容。論文將從「寒夜」電視劇改編之忠實度比較作為出發，再深入探究人物情愛、認同思想、歷史敘事、台灣文化等四大主題。【秀威資訊科技股份有限公司製作】
About the author
楊淇竹。真理大學台灣文學系畢業，國立中正大學台灣文學研究所文學碩士。研究領域：現當代文學、結構主義、文學電視劇。 單篇論文： 〈記憶迷思——《寒夜續曲》歷史符號之影像再現〉、〈夢的建構——論林燿德〈魚夢〉與〈童夢〉〉，分別發表在《台灣文學評論》第八卷第四期與第二屆中區研究生台灣文學論文研討會。 短評散見國藝會「藝評台」網站。 新詩〈淡水〉獲中正大學第四屆清園文學獎，新詩組佳作。 短評〈情慾、死亡、救贖之生命行旅——試論《慈悲情人》的宗教書寫〉、〈光明/黑暗之符碼交錯——論《痞子英雄》的社會結構觀》分別獲國家文化藝術基金會2009年「台灣藝文評論徵選專案」佳作。 曾任作家陳玉慧的私人助理。
