循環經濟是經濟發展與永續環境的重要解決方法之一，2021年《循環差距報告》指出若全球經濟中循環經濟的占比能翻倍數到達17%，並且配合執行路徑圖，則有望控制升溫2度C以下。自然資源匱乏的台灣，更需要利用創新循環經濟模式，增加原物料資源循環再利用，減少供應鏈中斷風險。要從既有的線性經濟生產消費模式轉變到循環經濟模式，製造供應鏈面臨諸多阻礙與挑戰(如市場、法規與成本等)，循環經濟可減少浪費、促進新商機和支持供應鏈韌性，以及增加永續性的競爭力。在製造生產中，從源頭起減少原物料開採與使用，優化生產流程減少廢料產生，並將產生的廢料或副產品有效利用，A公司的廢料或副產品可被B公司當成原料或資源使用，進而形成產業互利共生的創新循環生態系統。本研究提供多面向的政策建議，多種循環經濟創新模式、生態創新與產業共生案例，希望藉由這些有效的方法，作為國內推動循環經濟政策與實際執行上的參考。
