旗人入仕途徑多元，諸如恩蔭世職、充選侍衛，或考取筆帖式、內閣中書等，科舉僅是其中一種方式。杜祐寧從旗人應試制度談起，簡述旗人考試制度的建立與規定的調整，釐清旗人應試、除授、升遷等科舉入仕、任官的歷程。接著整理《題名錄》、《登科錄》、清人傳記等進士家族履歷相關史料，透過量化分析，觀察科場表現與家族政治、經濟環境的互動，呈現出清朝科舉與官僚結構、旗人群體之間的角力。最後進一步比較在京與駐防旗人的考試表現，釐清功名有無與旗人官員遷轉的關係，說明科舉對旗人、民人仕途的影響，具體論證旗人應試科舉時的優勢，以及清朝科舉「參漢酌金」的滿洲特色。

About the author

2009年取得國立成功大學歷史研究所碩士學位，後至國立臺灣師範大學歷史學系攻讀博士並取得學位，研究專長為清朝的科舉制度。著有〈幸出水火：清雍乾時期宗室隸屬包衣佐領的身分調整〉、〈同場一例：科舉制度與清朝旗人的仕途〉等學術論文。
