準提咒，又稱準提神咒、準提真言，是佛教的重要咒語，禪門、淨土宗都有許多人持誦。此咒語代表準提菩薩的功德，為早課晚課的十小咒之一，許多寺院在用齋進餐時，也會先誦準提咒。誦持此咒者，準提菩薩會在其頭上護持，使他所求遂意，以精進修習佛理。持誦準提神咒只要虔誠又具善心，無論在家、出家，茹素、食肉，一律可得福佑、如願，最後得到諸佛加持，成就佛果。
準提觀音（梵音：Cundi），為佛教中顯教、密宗所共尊的大菩薩，是觀世音菩薩的化身。又稱準提菩薩、天人丈夫觀音、準提佛母等，密號最勝金剛，為六觀音之一，又稱蓮花部諸尊之母，乃至七俱胝（七億）諸佛菩薩之母
