About this ebook
<遊戲演化論>寫的是我在過去的25餘年裡，於遊戲研究領域中的思考歷程，是教學生涯的回顧，也是生命的反芻。從博士班的學習經歷，到進入學習遊戲的設計領域，經過了2D、3D遊戲開發，到擴增實境、仿生獸、物聯網的融入，乃至於做更深入的遊戲行為研究。裡面不僅有成功、也有失敗的案例；也有更多在學術論文裡看不到的故事。
雖說是個人的經歷，也間接地反映出臺灣教育遊戲發展史。當所有學者的在往某個遊戲設計研究前進，我更想開創另一條道路，尋找一個概念的突破與創新，建立一種更適合探求教育遊戲領域的研究方法。這些年走訪世界各國，也體會到我們的遊戲創新與實踐確實獨樹一格。我們的努力與發現，寫在此書中，祈能傳承我的老師所留給我的，一些思考的錨點、一個思考的框架、一片思考的原野。
