功率/效率技術準備就緒 電動車無線充電鳴槍開跑
為了降低空氣汙染災害，各國相繼發布禁售燃油車法案，並祭出一系列的電動車產業相關輔導政策，發展純電力行駛的交通載具企圖可見一斑。以實際電動車發展的時間表來看，大多數的國家將從2030年開始，將全面實施電動車政策，而從2025年將看到市場明顯成長，預計在全球汽車銷售比重中，電動汽車將超過10%；而此發展也間接推動無線充電在汽車應用的發展。
由市場研究機構ResearchAndMarkets預測報告指出，2023年全球電動汽車充電站市場預計將從2018年的53億美元增加到304.1億美元，複合年增長率為41.8%。此一進展也刺激更多方案商積極投入車用無線充電的計畫，包含Qualcomm、WiTricity、Evatran、Elix Wireless、HEVO和東芝(Toshiba)等廠商，但就目前市場來看，電動車無線充電方案儼然已被Qualcomm和WiTricity兩大龍頭瓜分，其中WiTricity表示，該公司已與全球十大汽車製造商中的九家合作，預計到2022年市場規模將高達40億美元。
