高雄師大國文系畢業，獅子座，喜愛閱讀、寫作、散步。他的著作豐富，出版了《歡樂綠森林》、《開開心心過生活》、《不睡覺的國王》、《小小口才高手》等六十餘本書。得獎四十多種，包括「省新聞處小說獎」、「高雄市文藝獎」、「教育部論文競賽國小教師組第一名」、「海峽兩岸徵文童話獎」、「好書大家讀」等。作品曾兩度入選年度童話選以及國語日報精選童話。
