About this ebook
在近代中國「西學東漸」的過程中，清末民初由上海商務印書館所編印的《教育雜誌》，曾經扮演著詳實地記載當時教育史實以及引進西方新式教育的重要角色。該雜誌創刊於宣統元年（1909）正月，停刊於民國三十七年（1948）十二月，其間曾因戰火停刊兩次，全文共三十三卷。其所包含的內容與史料相當豐富，可說是吾人研究近代中國教育發展史不可或缺的重要史料。因此，百年來首次完整出版的《教育雜誌（1909-1948）索引》一書，將有助於研究近代中國教育史的學者更完整且有效率地查尋雜誌中的各項資料。
