吳立萍
曾任職人文及自然科學類雜誌、出版社多年。現為自由文字工作者、台北市立兒童育樂中心專刊主編，另有作品散見於《自由時報》、《國語日報》、《小牛頓》雜誌等。著有《世界地理》、《台灣地理》、《動物園明星步道》、《三峽－－李梅樹藝術步道》、《野柳－－金山步道》、《台灣的老鄉鎮》，及繪本《青蛙的婚禮》、《蜻蜓變身記》等十數種出版品；曾為大愛電視台「經典」節目撰寫腳本。入圍第三十屆金鼎獎兒童及少年圖書類最佳著作人獎。

一九七九年出生於馬來西亞檳城。
她覺得，繪本就像一顆小種子──
如果有人願意翻閱，種子就像得到甘露般的喜悅；
如果讓人會心微笑，種子就像得到陽光般的溫暖；
如果可以帶來共鳴，種子就會像發芽般，
慢慢延伸，慢慢呼吸……
