劉益州，逢甲大學中國文學系博士，台中教育大學及靜宜大學兼任助理教授、僑光科技大學兼任講師、創世紀詩社同仁。曾經獲優秀青年詩人獎、創世紀五十年詩創作獎等獎項。曾以筆名楊寒出版詩集《巫師的樂章》、《楊寒短詩選》、《與詩對望》、《我的心事不容許你參與》（釀出版）及小說《巫師的樂章》、《大刀歌》等。
