About the author
劉洪濤 北京師範大學文學院比較文學教授，博士生導師，美國《今日中國文學》（Chinese Literature Today）雜誌常務副主編。曾任義大利特倫托大學、英國諾丁漢大學、劍橋大學訪問學者（2001，2004-2005）。著有《湖南鄉土文學與湘楚文化》（1997）、《徐志摩與劍橋大學》（2007）、《勞倫斯小說與現代主義文化政治》（2007）、《沈從文小說與現代主義》（2009）等，另有譯著多部。在《文學評論》、《外國文學評論》、《北京師範大學學報》、《中國現代文學研究叢刊》、《中國比較文學》、《外國文學研究》、《World Literature Today》等刊物上發表學術論文七十餘篇。
