我國涉外民事法律適用法自民國42年6月6日公布施行以後，除98年12月30日公布修正第3、20條條文外，於民國99年5月26日修正公布全文63條，公布日後一年施行，迄今多年實務上累積若干案例可供回顧檢視。近年來我國人與外國人、事、物、地往來頻繁，儼然已經是個融為一體的地球村概念，舉凡商業交流；婚姻之結婚、離婚；混血兒親子關係及監護問題，屢屢發生，大家不太可能終其一生不出國門或不跟外國人或外國事務產生交集，尤以跨國婚姻、爭子女扶養權及監護權；民事勞資糾紛、履約糾紛；一般侵權行為；外資法人事務；智慧財產侵權，最為大宗。本書擬以淺顯的撰寫方式，編寫許多與時事有關的詼諧案例，期使讀者有些基本盤的認識，以最新修正後的法條內容，帶領讀者回顧近年來最高法院暨地方法院相關實務見解，並介紹若干判決改編案例之分析。
