About the author

�儒勒•凡爾納（Jules Verne，1828—1905），法國著名作家，現代科幻小說的奠基人，被譽為“科幻小說之父”。一生共創作了六十多部充滿神奇與浪漫的科幻小說，其代表作有《氣球上的五星期》、《地心游記》、《從地球到月球》、《海底兩萬里》、《八十天周游世界》、《格蘭特船長的兒女》和《神秘島》等，這些小說被譯成世界上幾十種文字，并多次被搬上銀幕，在世界上廣為流傳。
