落蒂本名楊顯榮，筆耕半世紀，著有詩集《煙雲》、《詩的旅行》、《一朵潔白的山茶花》、《臺灣之美——詩寫臺灣》、《風吹沙》、《大寒流》、《鯨魚說》及《時光問答》等多部，堪為當代指標詩人。本書繼《青林果熟星宿爛：落蒂新詩論集》之後，再次收錄多篇對落蒂詩的解讀，譜成四部：第一部〈文藝〉，藉著遊走於宗教經典、前衛藝術與中外電影，體會落蒂於詩與文字中開展的廣袤藝境；第二部〈自然〉，且看落蒂寓情於萬象風物，禪機、憂思、讚美、嘆息，無不深植在草木雲石，纖毫畢現；第三部〈哲理〉則可見落蒂詩出入儒釋道三家，不獨高談闊論，亦殷切著重生活實踐，第四部〈愛情〉收錄落蒂與妻子相守，一生情懷總是詩，感動讀者，喚起深情。

香港大學中文學院畢業，《刻意》藝文誌副總編輯，著有〈安守現實，自得其樂？——讀向陽《盆栽》、《種籽》〉、〈深藏的聖經寓意——從席慕蓉《綠繡眼》見《聖經》〉等多篇，編有《青林果熟星宿爛：落蒂新詩論集》、《甘党女子：姚時晴〈曬乾愛情的味道〉隨想》等書。

香港中文大學中文系畢業，撰有〈曖昧游移的「局外人」——論《永發街事》的「後移民」處境〉等，評論散見各種詩刊，並編集《青林果熟星宿爛：落蒂新詩論集》、《漢唐》、《元清》等文史論著。
