四書指的是《大學》、《中庸》、《論語》、《孟子》這四本儒家經典，「朱注四書」是指南宋朱熹（1130-1200）的《四書章句集注》。「章句」是指為《大學》與《中庸》分章斷句，主要是朱氏個人的注解；「集注」是指為《論語》與《孟子》集合眾多學者的注解，所引學者以北宋與南宋為主，又以程頤（1033-1107）最受重視，故後世有「程朱學派」之稱。
「朱注四書」從元朝皇慶二年開列為科舉考試的教本。此後中國的讀書人從啟蒙開始，都必須先誦習這本書。從此朱熹的思想產生了無比的影響。《評朱注四書》作者傅佩榮教授認為，朱注四書表面上是朱熹在注解四書，其實，是朱熹用四書來注解自己的思想。

作者：傅佩榮

民國三十九年生於台北。輔仁大學哲學學士，國立臺灣大學哲學碩士，美國耶魯大學哲學博士。曾任國立臺灣大學哲學系系主任、研究所所長，比利時魯汶大學、荷蘭萊頓大學講座教授等職，現任國立臺灣大學哲學系教授。長年致力推廣國學，曾在央視「百家講壇」及鳳凰衛視、山東電視台、東方衛視等電視節目主講國學。論著豐富，多達百餘種。對《論語》、《孟子》、《大學》、《中庸》、《易經》、《老子》、《莊子》有一系列的白話譯注、解讀與影音書。其他還包括《儒道天論發微》、《儒家哲學新論》、《論語三百講》、《孔門十弟子》、《予豈好辯哉：傅佩榮評朱注四書》、《一本就通：西方哲學史》等書。詳細介紹請參考「象飛音樂工作室」http://flyinnmusic.pixnet.net/blog。
