«Навождение» — произведение русского прозаика и драматурга, одного из самых известных в мире русских писателей и мыслителей Макси́ма Го́рького (настоящее имя — Алексе́й Макси́мович Пешко́в, 1868–1936).*** Рассказ с подзаголовком «Святочный рассказ» написан и впервые напечатан в газете «Нижегородский листок» в 1896 году в разделе «Фельетон». В собрания сочинений автора не включался. Перу Горького принадлежат и такие произведения: «Несвоевременные мысли», «Несколько дней в роли редактора провинциальной газеты», «Несколько испорченных минут», «Несогласный», «Неудавшийся писатель».
