Жуковского (1783 – 1852). *** Это перевод баллады Шиллера, который строил сюжет на основе средневековых немецких легенд XII века. Жуковский изменил главную идею произведения Шиллера. В балладе «Кубок» автор утверждает: людям недоступно знание того, что лежит, согласно воле Бога, за пределами человеческого разумения. Жуковский написал и такие произведения: «Спящая царевна», «Сказка о Иване-царевиче и Сером Волке», «Кот в сапогах», «Стихотворения».
