About this app

The NS app is the official planning application for the Dutch Railways.

The app has the following features:

- Realtime journey planner
- Timetable of departing trains per station
- Summary of Planned work and disruptions
- Station specific information regarding facilities and shops
- Notifications regarding delays of a saved trip


Permissions:
- We use your location to show nearby train stations
- We use permissions for "Photo's/media/files" to save temporary files for Google Maps. This allows maps shown in the app to be faster. The app doesn't use or have access to your pictures or other media.

I have a subscription NS Flex. My card should auto recharge when top on/off and it doesn't. I don't get discounts when I should (off peak times and weekends). I'm paying €6 for nothing. Really disappointed. When you ask for support they ask you to complete a form...

Don’t waste your time with this app—buy tickets at the station or another way. It’s much faster and easier. Your time isn’t worth this "savings." Very uncomfortable, asks for too much personal info, and has verification issues. Bad job, guys. In the rest of the world, similar apps are far better. You’re stuck in the past.

Bought ticket online, but unable to upload in app, keeps saying I don't have a ticket even though I paid for it. A lot of hassle to get my money back and forced to spend another 60+ euros on a new ticket at the machine. This is really off-putting. Customer service lady is nice and understanding but says she can't help, I have to get a refund but very unclear how to do that as their app doesn't give that option.
